Synopsis

Formative music by the sounds of nature and landscapes encountered on the journey echoes through the space.

Statement

While exploring and practicing the relationship between image and sound, he has produced works centered on video works that deviate from ordinary forms of expression, such as experimental film and video art, and has explored their possibilities.

I have been shooting "landscapes" with a video camera. I have limited myself to industrialized landscapes, such as factories and trains, but this time I wanted to present the scenery as it is and the sounds of nature, without any conditions.

I have come to believe that scenery encountered by chance is in fact the original way scenery is encountered, and that choosing scenery may be an underestimation of scenery.  I also feel that sounds are often secondary to the decoration of images in the same way.

I want to make the most of the landscapes I have photographed on my travels and the sounds of nature I have recorded at the time, while including simple, sculptural, ambient, and other elements to echo a formative presence throughout the space and provide a moment of serenity.

Finally, by applying experiments that have often been repeated in landscape theory and Image history, I wish to produce works that will give people the ability to be aware of the past, learn from the past, and think about the present, while staying close to the times.
